Scope

Customer had designed a bespoke keg rinse system for their client. Their aim was to provide industrial control system with recipe management features and functionality in the design. While the client retained the mechanical design and fabrication, they required iAutomation to develop the control strategy. This included design of the electrical system, software control system to incorporate Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Touch Screen Human Machine Interface (HMI).

Solution

After the initial project appraisal, we present our client with electrical and control system detailed design. Our solution consisted of the deliver of the following:

• Design of safety system to comply with EC Safety Regulations
• Development of modular PLC control system with HMI
• Integration of recipe management system into the HMI
• Test and debug of the system
• Fully documented Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
